ODESSA - Some Odessa neighbors opened-up their front doors for the 22nd Annual "Christmas Tour of Homes."

On Sunday afternoon, the Odessa Board of Realtors gave the public a look inside some spectacular homes.

All the cash from the ticket sales will go towards scholarships for UTPB and Odessa College students.

The yearly event was originally started to help the university get on it's feet with scholarship money but they later added-in Odessa College and they say it couldn't be done without the public's help.

"We just appreciate the public's help with the scholarships. Each year it's gotten better, so it's really worked out great," Virgil Trower with the Odessa Board of Realtors, said.

The tour usually raises anywhere between $12,000 to $15,000 split between each school.
