Comments Being Accepted Regarding Radioactive Waste in Andrews

If you're worried about low level radio active waste making it's way to West Texas, now's your chance to get heard.

You can write down your concerns and comments and send it to the state.

Low level radioactive waste will be shipped into Andrews County to be stored at the Waste Control Specialists site.

The safety rules for its transportation have been put into place.

If you're still worried, you can send your comments to the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission through December 26th.

If you want to give your comments in person, you can got to their hearing on December ninth in Austin, but you'll be limited to 10 minutes.
