Odessa Man Wanted For Causing Deadly Wreck Turns Himself in to Police

ODESSA - An Odessa man, wanted for causing a deadly crash almost two weeks ago, is behind bars.

22-year-old Daniel Marquez turned himself in on Wednesday morning.

He's charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

Police say Marquez was under the influence when he was speeding near the intersection of eighth and Washington.

He lost control and hit a tree.

Marquez had two passengers in his car at the time, 19-year-old Brady Todd and 27-year-old Luise Biaza.

Todd died from his injuries a couple of days later.

Biaza is recovering.

Marquez is being held without bond.
