Crossing Guard Struck by Car in Midland

MIDLAND - A Midland crossing guard is recovering after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning.

60-year-old Thomas Pike was walking on Whitman when 44-year-old William Miller turned left onto Whitman, striking Pike with his left driver side mirror.

Pike was taken to Midland Memorial.

We're told he suffered only minor injuries.

Miller was issued a citation for failure to yield the ride of way.
