MIDLAND - They collected over 45,000 pills and 1,100 pill bottles during the medication takeback.
It was so popular that the Midland Coalition is working to have another drug takeback day.
Officials from Stop DWI, the Midland Police Department and Palmer Drug Abuse Program all gathered on Monday to discuss the details of the next takeback.
It's slated to happen in January.
Officials plan to include home medication pickup in the next takeback.
