CARLSBAD, N.M. (AP) - Authorities have charged a nurse working for the Eddy County jail with three counts of dangerous drugs and embezzlement.

Carlsbad police officers say 32-year-old Lori Neumann of Carlsbad was arrested last week and was charged in a criminal complaint filed in magistrate court in the southern New Mexico city.

Police agent Daniel Vasquez says the woman's husband told authorities his wife was a registered nurse at the Eddy County Detention Center and had an inmate's prescription pills at their home.
