West Texans cleaned out their closets and brought out their old computers, printers, fax machines and cell phones for the annual 'Texas Recycles Day.'
Midland, Odessa and Big Spring all held drives collecting E-waste.
It's part of a statewide campaign to collect materials that could cause hazardous effects if it's put into the landfills.
Midland College, the Odessa Recycle Time Machine, and the Big Spring Landfill all hosted our area collections.
Saturday's recycling campaign also encouraged West Texans to bring out other reusable items like cardboard, plastics, and aluminum.
