MIDLAND - Crop-dusting is gaining momentum in Midland.
So much so that one company gave the go ahead to let the Tall City build an engine in one of their aircrafts.
On Thursday, Texas Reciprocating Aircraft Engines launched a new crop dusting plane.
Trace Engines in town made the engine.
In addition to agricultural services, the plane will also be used for promotional purposes and to give back to the customer.
A second aircraft is already in the works.
All the conversions for the aircrafts will take place at the Midland International Airport.
