FORT STOCKTON - A man accused of killing a Fort Stockton rancher more than 20 years ago will be staying in Pecos County.

Lightsey Saul is one of three men accused of killing Joe Daggett back in the 1980s and then dumping his body.

Saul's attorney's argued the trial should be moved out of Fort Stockton, claiming he wouldn't get a fair trial.

A judge ruled on Tuesday afternoon, the trial will stay in Fort Stockton at least for now.

The trial isn't expected to get underway until next year.
