HOBBS, N.M. - The Hobbs Police Department has a new place to call home.
They've moved into a new building, it's the former city hall.
Employees spent much of last week moving in.
Renovations started on the building last year with a price tag of 1.3 million dollars.
The new police station features more room for evidence storage, an updated and more spacious crime laboratory, more offices for personnel and larger squad rooms.
