MIDLAND - More charges have been filed against a Midland man already behind bars for murder.
His bond was more than doubled.
Rashad Roy Bell will have to come up with $247,000 to get out of jail.
The new charges include burglarizing a building, stealing a car, credit card abuse, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
It all involves this fatal crash involving a street sweeper that occurred two weeks ago.
Police say Bell and two others robbed the Midtown Hotel and drove off in a stolen SUV.
Bell is accused of running a stop sign and hitting the street sweeper.
Ronnie Lee Randolph was thrown from the sweeper and then crushed underneath it.
