Odessa Chamber Comes Out in Support of OC Bond

ODESSA - The Odessa College bond proposal is getting some support from the chamber of commerce. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce put out a resolution Thursday in support of the college bond initiative.

OC wants voters to pass a $68.5 million bond. The money will be used for new training facilities and transfer programs. The chamber believes the bond will increase work force education here in the Permian Basin.

The programs that would benefit from the bond include the nursing and health department and the firefighter training center.
