Bill White Makes Tall City Stop

MIDLAND - It may be known for its Republican roots, but that didn't stop Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White from stopping by the Tall City.

White came through the basin to do some last minute campaigning at the Harvest Cafe on Wadley in Midland. He wants voters to know that if he becomes governor he's going to focus on schools and getting Texas out of its 18 billion dollar deficit.

He also talked about why it's important to campaign in West Texas, even though its a mostly Republican area.

Election day is November, 2nd.
