ODESSA - The oil and gas industry counts on the show here in the Basin to stay on top of the latest services and technologies.
And this year's show could be singing a different tune than those of the past, especially when it comes to offshore drilling.
For the oil and gas industry, offshore drilling is a prevalent issue, being hailed as either the answer to the country's energy problems or an environmental disaster.
But according to the show's director, this year the Oil Show will be turning its eyes inward.
"This show is somewhat unique in that it's all on-shore," Executive Director Tony Fry, said. "There's a lot of secondary and tertiary recovery being discussed out here in technologies."
