MIDLAND - The lights are back on for some Midlanders after a truck plowed down a power pole on the Southside of Midland.
Those who live closest to the accident will have to wait a little longer to get their power back.
Hundreds lost electricity on Monday afternoon when a truck severed a power pole along Hicks.
That started a chain reaction of mishaps, including a blown transformer and a grassfire.
ONCOR tells NewsWest 9, most of their customers are back on line, but there are a few that will have to wait until work crews set up a new power pole.
We're told that should be done no later than midnight.
