BIG SPRING - Some big ticket items are on the table for the Big Spring City Council meeting.
On Tuesday, members will discuss the sale of alcohol at the Heart of the City Park in downtown.
The city already has ordinances in place that allow vendors to purchase alcohol permits at some park locations, but right now, there's no selling booze in the downtown Big Spring park.
The City Council is also scheduled to vote on approval to sell land to the Colorado Municipal Water District for the construction of a water reclamation plant.
The plant will recycle water for the entire Permian Basin.
Construction on the plant is ready to begin early next year.
And the bid for construction on the family aquatic center at Comanche Trail Park will be awarded on Tuesday.
It's still scheduled to be finished in time for next summer
The meeting will start at 5:30p.m. on Tuesday.
