MIDLAND - Police are investigating after a deadly high speed crash in Midland.
The accident happened early Sunday morning at the intersection of Highway 349 and Craddick Highway.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Jessie Herb.
Midland police say herb tried to turn west onto Craddick Highway but missed the turn.
His vehicle slid across the road, through a barbed wire fence and into an open field.
The car flipped several times ejecting the man from the vehicle.
Herb was not wearing his seatbelt and police believe speed played a factor in the crash.
