ODESSA - A chase for possible burglary suspects led one elementary school in Odessa to "shelter in place."

Reagan Elementary spent about 20 minutes under "shelter in place" as Odessa Police pursued two possible burglary suspects near the school.

Police detained the two suspects and the "shelter in place" was released at 11:25a.m. Wednesday morning.

"Shelter in place" means the school's exterior doors are locked and monitored and no one is allowed in or out of the building, but school does continue as usual inside the building.
