Zia Park Casino Setting Up Fund for Jockey Killed in Race Track Accident

Zia Park Casino and Racetrack in Hobbs is setting up a fund for a jockey who was killed at the track over the weekend.

44-year-old Mark Anthony Villa was killed Saturday when his horse fell during a race.

As Villa was trying to get up, another horse ran into him.

He died at a Hobbs hospital.

Zia Park has set up a 501 3C Fund for Villa's family.

The fund is a joint effort between Zia Park and the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack where Villa also frequently raced.
