Andrews County to Issue Bonds to WCS in November

ANDREWS - We now know the date when Andrews County officials will issue bonds for the Waste Control Specialists low level radioactive waste plant in Andrews.

The Andrews County Judge tells NewsWest 9, they'll issue the 75 million dollar bonds during their November 8 meeting.

They'll hand 60-million out first then the last 15 will be given through purchase orders.

On Friday, NewsWest 9 also spoke with Waste Control Specialists representatives and they say they are pleased with the November date and plan to start construction quickly after receiving those bonds.
