MIDLAND - It's a new place for West Texas cancer patients to connect with their families and learn about their disease.
Friday marked the grand opening of the second 'Hope House' in the Tall City.
‘Hope House' gives cancer patients and their families a free place to stay while their loved ones undergo chemo treatments.
The new digs on west Tennessee Street in Midland features eight bedroom, a conference center and a meeting room for families to gather.
This second addition to ‘Hope House' will offer space for even more patients and their families.
At the hope house, patients can find resources on cancer and get involved in support groups.
Hope House is funded entirely through local private donations.
