Second Deputy Injured in West Odessa Standoff Released from the Hospital

ODESSA - The second deputy injured during the West Odessa standoff has been released from the hospital.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9 that Deputy Ricky Tijerina was released from Medical Center Hospital around 3:00p.m. this afternoon.

Tijerina suffered from three gunshot wounds.

Tijerina was one of the two Deputies that was allegedly shot by Victor White after a business deal turned bad in West Odessa.

Sgt. McNeill, who was the other deputy that was shot, was released on Sunday night.
