ODESSA - Good news on the Ector County Deputies shot during the 22 hour standoff on Friday afternoon.

Sergeant Steve McNeill has been released from Medical Center Hospital and Deputy Ricky Tijerina is in stable condition.

The first call went out about 4 o'clock Friday afternoon near University and Knox.

55-year-old Victor White allegedly opened fire on a deputy and a civilian during a business deal that turned bad.

The suspect took off in the deputy's vehicle driving around West Odessa firing at authorities before eventually barricading himself on his property.

Over 20 agencies and 150 officers came in for back-up.

22 hours later, white finally surrendered.

White was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was treated for burns then booked into the Midland County Detention Center.

White is facing two counts of attempted capital murder of a peace officer and aggravated assault of a public servant.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office is thanking local and surrounding law enforcement agencies for their support as well as the businesses that brought out food and water.
