MIDLAND COUNTY- Midland County ONCOR customers on the west side of town should be back to full power after an equipment fire sparked a power outage for about 1,000 customers.
The fire started around 2:30p.m. near highway 191 and 158.
ONCOR officials say it was sparked by a piece of a equipment on one of their power poles.
The surrounding grass then caught fire.
Firefighters got the fire out after almost 30 acres were burned.
It took a few hours to get the power restored.
