HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - Hobbs Police are searching for clues after a woman's body was found in a field over the weekend.

The body of 31-year-old Carolina Deleon was found Saturday afternoon by some kids, north of the 1900 block of east Bender.

Investigators say Deleon was last seen near east Broadway and Marland, early last Saturday morning, getting into a gold car possibly driven by a man with a pony-tail.

Police think Deleon, who recently moved to Hobbs from Lubbock, may have been working as a prostitute.

There's still no word on a possible cause of death.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area where Deleon was last seen to call them at (575)-397-9265.
