Volunteers Come Out to Support the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon

It's an annual event aimed at raising money for children suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. While many people were out enjoying their day off on Monday, others decided to donate their free time for this good cause.

MIDLAND - It's an annual event aimed at raising money for children suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. While many people were out enjoying their day off on Monday, others decided to donate their free time for this good cause.

The annual MDA telethon took place on Monday and many volunteers showed up and donated their time. The big event was held at the Clarion Hotel in Midland and more than 60 volunteers showed up to lend a hand. The telethon started early Monday morning at 5:00a.m. on NewsWest 9 and ended on Monday evening.
