This weekend, hot air balloons are taking to the skies for the 23rd Annual Big Bend Balloon Bash.
The event is being hosted at Sierra La Rana, a ranch just two miles south of Alpine.
Organizers tell NewsWest 9, so far, this year's turnout has been a huge success.
"It's beautiful out here. We're a festival that lasts Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings and the Marfa Lights Music Festival - they're in the 24th Festival, it's nice in the daytime, so if you want to listen to a bunch of music, it's terrific," Balloon Bash Organizer, Guy Combs, said.
The gates will open up bright and early on Sunday at 7:00a.m. and on Monday.
On Sunday night, organizers will host a concert at Buck Stadium in Alpine.
The event is free and open to the public.
