FORT STOCKTON - Fort Stockton has an Interim City Manager but he's not getting too comfortable.

The City Council named Doug May as the interim city manager following Raphael Castillo's resignation last month.

May will also continue working as Director for the Economic Development Corporation.

He will, however, step down from his position as tourism director until they find a permanent City Manager.

May told NewsWest 9, the city started their candidate search at the beginning of the month.

The city hopes to secure a permanent replacement by the first of the year.
