ODESSA - An Odessa man will spend nearly three years behind bars after getting caught red handed with pot.

That's the sentence handed down to 41 year-old Reynaldo Valenzuela in a federal courtroom on Thursday.

Once he gets out of the pen, he'll be on parole for five years.

You may remember back in March, the SWAT team stormed Valenzuela's home on east 36th Street uncovering half a ton of pot and cold hard cash.

The marijuana was worth more than half a million dollars on the street.

Speaking of cash, officers also found $180,000 around the house.

In June, Valenzuela admitted to dealing pot.
