New information on a Brewster County plane crash that occurred back in May.
On May 18th, a Piper Saratoga Airplane crashed into a fence near the Alpine Municipal Airport.
The pilot, 65-year-old Vernon Stump, was not injured but he did report having engine trouble.
The National Transportation Safety Board determined a flexible hose and two clamps were not properly installed.
Less than a month later, during the July 4th weekend, 5 people were killed when an air ambulance went down, just moments after taking off from the Alpine Airport.
