Police Searching for Suspect Involved in Overnight Chase

MIDLAND - New details on a man involved in an overnight chase in Midland.

Police say they're now on the trail of their suspect.

Police tell NewsWest 9, a Hispanic man in his 20's was driving a black Ford F-150 with two passengers in his truck.

He ran a red light right in front of a patrol car and refused to stop, leading police on a chase.

It ended when the truck smashed into a tree on Monty and Mercedes Drive.

The driver jumped out and got away on foot.

Two passengers were taken to the hospital, both were treated and released.

As soon as one passenger, 25 year-old Christopher Terrango was let go, he was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Police tell NewsWest 9, they now know who the driver is and are working on getting an arrest warrant.
