Two plea deals play out in Ector County and close the book on a three year old murder case.
21-year-old Israel Lujan was sentenced on Wednesday to 25 years behind bars after admitting to his part in the murder of Hector Medrano back in August of 2007 at the Spanish Oaks Apartments.
On Thursday, 22-year-old Fernando Andujo got 35 years for a similar deal.
Prosecutors say they have to serve at least half of their sentences before they can be paroled.
The pair got the deal for agreeing to testify against Daniel Orona who was sentenced to life in prison for Medrano's death, back in December.
Medrano was shot in the chest in the parking lot outside his apartment during a robbery attempt.
There's no chance of parole for Orona.
