ALPINE - Motorists will now have a much smoother ride in Alpine.
Local officials including Congressman Ciro Rodriguez were on hand on Wednesday morning in alpine to cut the ribbon on a brand new 5th Street.
The street was recently re-paved and got new sidewalks and handicap ramps.
