City of Big Spring Issues New Animal Ordinances

BIG SPRING - Budget woes are forcing Big Spring to change up their animal policies in the city.

On Tuesday, the Big Spring City Council voted to make it illegal for anyone to sell animals in parking lots or on the roadside.

The council decided residents with more than eight dogs and cats have to get a permit.

The City Council also decided to cut their animal control advisory committee.
