MIDLAND - An oil truck driver in the hospital after losing control and rolling his truck on the Interstate in Midland.
The accident happened after lunch on Friday afternoon near the Midkiff exit.
Police say the Basic Energy truck was heading east when one of the tires blew out.
That sent the truck veering off the road, across the median, the westbound lane and service road, before flipping over in the field.
The driver was thrown from the truck.
We're told he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
No one else was hurt.
