MIDLAND - A Midland man turns himself in for allegedly causing a fiery wreck that took the life of another man.

18-year-old Trey Hurt is charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.

He was indicted last month and turned himself in on Tuesday.

You may remember back in January, troopers say hurt ran a stop sign and slammed into a pick-up driven by 49-year-old Nestor Castro.

The impact caused Castro's truck to burst into flames.

He was trapped inside and died at the scene.

Hurt is out on bond.
