ODESSA - The cool air is flowing again on the Westside of Odessa.

On Thursday afternoon, NewsWest 9 had a few calls into our newsroom and the folks who lived along west 19th told us the electricity was out.

The power company tells NewsWest 9, the outage was caused by a blown transformer near 16th and West County Road.

ONCOR said that one of their power poles in the area was hit by a car.

Whether the two are connected is not clear.

ONCOR had the lights back up and running within a few hours.
