MIDLAND COUNTY - It's something the Commemorative Air Force has been waiting for.
Just before 9:00a.m. Thursday morning, FiFi, the only flyable B-29 in the world took flight after being grounded for four years.
Staff, volunteers and on-lookers were on hand to witness the big bird's return to the sky.
FiFi returned to the tarmac after flying for almost 40 minutes.
Next up for FiFi will be more test flights.
After that, CAF officials say FiFi will go on tour at various shows around the country.
