Odessa Man Wanted in Connection With Deadly Crash Turns Himself In

ODESSA - The search is over for an Odessa man who was wanted in connection with a deadly crash.

21-year-old Alonzo Rodriguez turned himself in to deputies on Thursday morning.

He was wanted for evading arrest with a vehicle causing death.

Deputies say Rodriguez was trying to get away from them when he crashed a truck.

His passenger, 16-year-old Uriel Urias died in the crash.

Rodriguez and his brother Alfonso were arrested after trying to get away.

Rodriguez was originally charged with just evading arrest and was released after bonding out of jail last week.

His charge was upgraded this week.
He bonded out of jail again on Thursday morning.
