ODESSA - The Ector County School District is celebrating after good scores came back from the Texas Education Agency.
Four ECISD elementary schools were rated exemplary, the highest rank, another 18 campuses achieved recognized status, and 12 were ranked acceptable.
There are no unacceptable schools in the district this year and school officials say that's a huge change from last years results.
"We work closer with kids who need the help and all the staff works together for improvement," Superintendent Hector Mendez said.
Five ECISD schools last year were rated unacceptable.
For a school to be exemplary all students must score in the 90th percentile on all of the state wide tests.
