A Fort Stockton man, accused of murder, will have to wait a little longer to go to trial.

30-year-old David Myers was supposed to go before a jury on Monday, but the trial has been moved to August 30th.

We're told Myers confessed to the crime.

He's accused of shooting and killing Drew Slater, two years ago.

Police caught Myers in Midland, when he tried to use Slater's credit card.

Myers has been charged with capital murder.

His trial is set to take place in Sonora.
