Five Odessans fess up to being part of a heroin trafficking ring in town.

Federal prosecutors say Mario Varela could be looking at life behind bars because he's been caught before dealing drugs.

The other four are looking at the possibility of forty years in the slammer.

Yvette Uballe, Jose Quezada, Hector Alba and Kristi Salinas, along with Varela, were busted back in April at a home on Alleghaney with more than $70,000 of the dangerous drug.

These five were part of a ring that included two men from El Paso.

One of the men, Roberto Calderon, has been arrested and is expected in court in the coming weeks.

The other man, Mark Anthony Balderama, is still on the run.
