MIDLAND - The only remaining B-29 bomber from World War II is grounded again.

On Friday, the Commemorative Air Force announced it may be the end of the month before FiFi takes to the skies.

They say it's because the Federal Aviation Administration has a heavy workload after recent accidents around West Texas.

The Commemorative Air Force hopes to complete the certification during the week of July 26th and start the flight testing during the week of August 2nd.

They're planning to fly FiFi in air shows across the United States .
