After two different offenses, an Andrews man will spend the next 35 years in jail for drug charges.

On Friday, 41-year-old Clifton Von Driver was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.

When Von Driver gets out, he'll serve a ten year term under supervised release.

Driver pled guilty back in April to the charges stemming from his arrest in February.

Authorities busted Driver and two other passengers on their way from Andrews to Hobbs and found him with over 50 grams of meth.

And at the time of his arrest, he was on federal supervised release based on a 2005 drug conviction.
