TOYAH - New details on a shooting in Toyah.

We first told you about this story last month.

Captain Reno Lewis with the Reeves County Sheriff's Department says the two teens involved are no longer behind bars.

Last month, the teens say they were shooting at birds out of a window.

The only problem, the bullets started flying toward a Toyah woman while she was outside of her home.

She doesn't believe the teen's story and thinks they were trying to hurt or scare her.

The teens were arrested and charged with deadly conduct, which is a felony, and criminal mischief.

Before they were released to their parents, the teens spent time in a juvenile facility in San Angelo.

Lewis says they still have to go to court, but a date has yet to be set.
