Here's something you probably don't want to hear, the price of a stamp may soon cost you a little more.
Postal officials want to increase the price of a stamp by two cents to 46 cents.
This comes after massive financial losses and declining mail volume.
A wide-ranging series of proposed price increases were announced on Tuesday, averaging about five percent and covering first class, advertising mail, packages and other services.
The request now goes to the independent postal rate commission and they have 90 days to respond.
