MIDLAND -  A historical aircraft that was supposed to take to the skies on Tuesday has been grounded.

Test flights for the Commemorative Air Force's B-29 Superfortress "FiFi" have been postponed until further notice due to a scheduling conflict with the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA has to come to Midland and issue a new airworthiness certificate for the B-29 for it to be able to fly, which may happen next week.

FiFi was supposed to do conduct test flights on Tuesday and Wednesday.
