Central Texas Man Facing Intoxication Manslaughter Charges

ECTOR COUNTY - A central Texas man faces charges for a deadly accident in Ector County.

Justin Paul Pruett of Moody, Texas, is charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Troopers tell NewsWest 9, he was drunk when his pickup slammed into a car killing two Midlanders on Monday night.

47-yar-old Marina Lobos and 47-year-old Jose Ramon died in the crash on Highway 80, not far from Jaguar's Gold Club.

Troopers say the two collided when the pair tried to make a U-turn.

Pruett is in jail on a $50,000 bond.
