PECOS - It's a push to pick-up the town.

On Thursday night, the Pecos City Council decided they need to find a way to clean up their streets.

City officials say they've had several complaints about litter and debris and a growing number of empty buildings that are falling apart.

Council members chose a task force that will come up with a long-term solution.

Part of the problem is they just don't have enough cash in the budget to manage a clean-up.

They're hoping to find a way to put those costs in their budget during the next year.
