PERMIAN BASIN – Mother Nature is once again making her presence felt across the Permian Basin.
In West Odessa, some residents have been left with a big mess after strong winds and rains move through the area.
West Odessa Volunteer firefighters have responded to several calls of wind damage, including at least one mobile being knocked on its side by the winds.
Other homes suffered damage to their roofs.
No word yet on any injuries.
OnCor Electric is also out en force in West Odessa because of downed power lines.
In Fort Stockton, a peak wind gust of 83 miles per hour was reported.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the Northern Permian Basin through Tuesday morning.
